Pentecost is held 50 days after Easter - the celebration of the Holy Spirit descending upon the disciples and the birth of the church.
St. Michael's will celebrate the Feast of Pentecost in a BIG way on Sunday, June 9.
We begin with our two worship services at 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. We will welcome into baptism one child at the 10:00 a.m. service.
And if that weren't enough, the GREAT LADYBUG RELEASE will take place on the front lawn after both services. We’re talking 6000 ladybugs! Why ladybugs? Besides being red, they are a gardener's best friend, as they devour harmful insects that will kill or damage your flowers, shrubs and trees.
See you on Pentecost……and don’t forget to wear RED!
