A Note From Our LIFT Director

GOOD FRIDAY LIFT SERVICE DAY PROJECT
Before too much time gets away from us, I just had to brag on our terrific LIFT group and their Good Friday Service Project. Under the Managership (Yes, I just created that word) of Paul Carrubba, we had 14 LIFTers help spray paint our pumpkin pallets. (Better than spray-painting a building, right?) Seriously, this will protect and lengthen the lives of the donated pallets so that our LIFT group can keep bringing YOU the very best quality pumpkins for your fall displays! Then 10 of the LIFTers went to the Good Friday noon service. It was a special day!
Our LIFT reserve folks, Kirk Chan and Fred Hille helped with keeping the cans pointed in the right direction and Heidi Guthrie filled our stomachs. FYI, we will be using the same vendor from last year with lots more ornamental pumpkins. YOU wonderful parishioners helped us raise $3000 for our Mission Work!
Another fun tidbit, our LIFT program is one of the larger groups in our Diocese. That's a hats-off to the kids AND to your parents who encourage them to come and get them there! God bless you! Train up a child in the way he/she should go, and shen he/she is old he/she will not turn from it. Prov. 22:6
This Sunday is our FINAL LIFT SUNDAY - 9:00 a.m. (start in the Community Room) Regular Zoom Link.
