It has been a small relief over the last week or so to watch the COVID numbers in our area begin to decrease, both in test positivity, and also in hospitalization.  I am hopeful that indeed the time is coming when more of us are vaccinated, and more of us can gather and fellowship together.  Until then, I need your cooperation.

 

Whenever you are in the church building, please continue to wear your mask.  This is true for Sunday worship, and also any small group or committee meeting in the building- if you are inside, please keep the mask covering your nose and mouth (because not everyone is vaccinated yet).  Truthfully, I want to continue to see that down trend on the statistics and continue making progress towards a full return, so for now masks are needed indoors.  Also, continue to distance while at the altar, with space between each family unit.  

When we are outdoors sharing a cup of coffee, please try and keep a safe distance (3-6 feet) from people, allowing the outdoor air and wind to whisk away any viral particles that may by chance be in the air.  It is always acceptable to wear a mask outdoors as well when not eating or drinking.  

I have deeply enjoyed coffee time after the 10am church service these past few weeks, and we will continue ordering coffee delivered when the weather permits (adding decaf this week). If you want to bring snacks to share, please do! Individually wrap them or put single servings in zip lock baggies to share.  If you are available to stay after church for a little bit, let me know you could help serve coffee, as we are required to have only one person pouring so as to reduce cross-contamination.
