For the first time, in a long time, we have in person Sunday school and nursery available. YAY! All week, I had plenty of comments from parents about how awesome it felt to be in Church. Some said their kids were really looking forward to coming back to Sunday School this week. As we get back into the full swing of things, I do want to remind everyone about our safety-first policy. All volunteers and staff have been trained with Keeping God’s Children Safe.
In addition, at check-in, the kids will be having their temperatures checked and guided to a social distanced space at the table. Each child will have their own supplies in a box and a special Sunday school mask. The Sunday school will be coinciding with our Preschool CDC compliance covid cleaning policies. Lastly, with positivity rates being unpredictable in the region odds are we could need to be flexible.
The new mounted TV in the Sunday School room is working great to allow for Zoom and in person at the same time. Thanks to Ms. Katy for fixing the sound input on the TV.
This Thursday is Earth Day, April 22nd. I would like to challenge each child from Sunday school to go on a liter nature hunt walk this weekend. See how many pieces of trash they could find then let us know the count on Sunday?
Have Fun.
Ms. Kim
