Hi everyone! February is my third favorite month of the year. December is number one and my birthday month, October is number two. All these months have one word in common. LOVE. That is what we will be celebrating in Sunday School all month. What do we love, Who do we love, and how it feels to LOVE.
I will be asking all the children to wear the color red for our Sunday school zoom each week. The crafts will be spectacular this month. Our newest craft leader, Paula Papamarcos is so talented and creative. Each craft is created to mirror the Focus lesson of the week from Living the Good News. For example, the 4th Sunday after the Epiphany had a focus of Speaking with power. The craft was making a pipe cleaner crown to wear. This represented and reinforced the lesson to hold their head up high as a child of God.
We will be having the scheduled first Sunday of the month parent pick up for the Sunday School supplies this Sunday at 11:15am in the community room. When you arrive it will include a social distanced quick craft for your child to do while here. As I know, it is going to be super cold this Sunday, so if you cannot make it, I will have the SS supplies bags in a tub located outside the front of church. At your convenience, please pick up your child’s supplies before Sunday, February 14th.
I hope you all will consider joining Mtr. Lisa and I this Friday night for Family game night at 6:00pm on Zoom. Lots of Friday Fun!
