I hope you all enjoyed Thanksgiving with your families. Last week I posted an Advent calendar for families to download and print out. This simple activity is a perfect way to bring Advent into your homes. The daily fun activity calendar helps us develop patience and encourages us for how we are waiting for something to happen. The Advent calendar can represent a reminder to take one day at a time, make a promise to God & to one another in the family. As you complete each task, discuss how we are waiting for Jesus’ birth.
We are back this week for parent supply pick up, Sunday, December 6th at 11:15a.m., in the community room. Normally we would be having an in-person craft, instead, this month the children will have an additional take home project in the supply bag.
The Virtual Epiphany Pageant on Sunday, January 10th will be a collective video of each individual reading and videos of songs sung at home. I am preparing costumes for each child and a script for them to take home to record a video. The video submission due date is December 20th. A video instruction sheet and reading will be attached to the costume bag. This sheet will include a link to upload the video and how to send the file. The costumes will be available to pick up this Sunday when parents are here. Please feel free to email me at if you need to make arrangements to pick up your supplies.
