In total four local pantries each received a vehicle full of food for our Outreach food drive.  We were able to deliver an estimated value of $3500 or more to these pantries, and we cannot thank all of the people and families of St. Michael's enough for their generosity towards this event. 

Judi Tammi delivered a vehicle load to St Cyprian’s food pantry, Rob Wisnowski delivered a vehicle load to Cuba Township pantry, and I delivered a vehicle of food to Food for Greater Elgin and another vehicle load to the Barringto Township Pantry. These four locations make up Ruth Silver’s “circuit.”

I would like to especially recognize Kim Curtis and our sexton, Rich, who were a huge help dividing up food and loading the vehicles for the food pantries.  

I am very proud of our church community and the generosity we showed with this drive. This is the start of something great for all of us.
