Hello St. Michael’s!  Here we are, the day after Election Day, and we are still waiting to hear who our president next year will be.  I hope you have been praying for our country and its leaders, regardless of how you ultimately decided to vote this year, and that we can continue to influence this country to be more like God’s Kingdom.  Along those same lines, that is also what I hope St. Michael’s can do next year- be a community of faith that does the work of the kingdom.  In that spirit, I want to tell you about two things: 

                First, Stewardship Sunday is this week, November 8, and I encourage you to attend online or in-person for our guest preacher, the Rev.                 Secondly, I am quite excited to share with you a collaborate effort that St. Michael’s and Advocate Good Shepherd hospital are doing.  We will have three webinars coming up this fall, addressing mental and emotional health, and one that will be a Cooking class!  Our first webinar is coming up on Monday the ninth, and you can learn about it here:
