This July has been super busy for me with VBS plans and various building projects. I am really feeling & seeing so many areas of church being reshaped.   And quickly! It is very exciting! While at the same time, rapid change strikes up conversation. Sometimes this movement creates a need for additional problem solving to be implemented. Some of these areas being discussed and molded into place need new procedures to accommodate our folks. This month we changed Nursery opening time to 9:15am. This will allow parents and volunteers who have nursery needs to participate in choir practice or other church responsibilities. We are very blessed to have Kathy and Ashley in nursery with us for so many years. They really balance out the functioning of the church on Sundays. Most of the nursery children belong to parents who are participating in our worship services. Church would not be the same if those parents could not volunteer because nursery was not available.

Reality is …. I really need more help in nursery. In the corporate world things start at the top. In the church world, things start at the bottom, meaning in the undercroft. First things First! Build the childcare first then we can all get to work.
