The Spirited Sisters warmly welcome all women of St. Michael's, as well as friends, relatives and neighbors, to explore and embrace Christ Is for Us on Tuesday evenings during Lent. Join in any time, as you are able. You will find us in St. Michael's Library March 7 - April 18, from 7:00-8:30 p.m.
Christ Is for Us invites us to explore God's saving and redeeming love through the lectionary Scripture readings for Lent and Easter Day. Author April Yamasaki guides us to a deeper understanding of key Bible readings, showing how they call us to embrace God's salvation and the new life offered to us through Christ.
Christ Is for Us reminds us that no matter what challenges we face in life, no matter what’s happening in the world around us, we can live with confidence and hope in God.
Each chapter includes commentary and reflection on readings from the Old Testament, the Epistle, the Gospel reading for that day, questions for personal reflection and group discussion. Books are available at And All the Angels Gift Store.
