Hello St. Michael's! The new year has arrived and it's time to start thinking about our summer mission trips. That's right. Trips with an S!

WE WILL BE GOING ON 2 MISSION TRIPS in the summer of 2017, one for our high school youth and one for our junior high youth.

Our high school trip is coming up first as we head to Palm Beach Florida! There are a huge number of potential worksites so we will really be following our passion and choosing what YOU want to do. From working with a wildlife preserve, helping serve food pantries, volunteering at a children's day camp this trip will allow YOU to choose where you want to share God's love. There will be more details coming as January comes to a close but here are the big details.

Date: Saturday June 10th - Saturday June 17th

Cost: $500

Ages: Incoming Freshmen (14yo) - Outgoing Seniors (18yo)

Our Jr. High trip will be aimed at the end of the summer and we will be going to South Michigan to focus on broadening our horizons and learning more about our world. We will be spending part of a week meeting, working, and playing with other youth from all over the world! One of our days will be spent meeting and playing games with refugees from overseas, we'll have the opportunity to go blueberry picking and meet some of the migrant families who depend on these farms, and we'll get to spend time at the beach and hiking in the dunes! We will also open up this trip to a small number of high school youth that would like to come on the trip as youth leaders! Here are the big details.

Date: Sunday August 6th - Thursday August 10th

Cost: $250

Ages: Incoming 6th graders (11yo) - Outgoing 8th graders (14yo)
